KaySoCosmic’s Cook-Out CookOff

🔥 ABOUT THE EVENT 🔥 KaySoCosmic’s Cook-Out Cookoff is a community-centered food competition designed to bring together talented cooks, pitmasters, home chefs, food lovers, and local businesses from across South Carolina for a day of great food, friendly competition, and community connection. Taking place on July 25, 2026, in Piedmont, SC, the inaugural Cook-Out Cookoff will feature 20 teams competing for the titles of Grand Champion and People’s Choice Champion. 🏆 COMPETITION FORMAT Teams will prepare tasting plates for the official judges consisting of: • 1 Main Protein cooked using either a grill, smoker, or deep fryer • 2 Side Dishes These competition plates will be judged to determine the Grand Champion (Judges’ Favorite). Teams will also have the opportunity to sell full-size versions of their competition plates to the public throughout the event. For the People’s Choice competition, each team will be provided with the same cut of chicken to prepare and serve as tasting samples to attendees. Guests will sample the chicken entries and vote for their favorite team to determine the People’s Choice Champion.
